Prewiro

Why we built Prewiro: a beta launch note

Prewiro is a 6-day, trust-first outreach engine that drafts a fresh sequence per prospect — never the same six twice. Built for solopreneurs, local businesses, agencies, and influencers. Here is what it does, who it is for, and how to get into the beta cohort.

TL;DR

Key Takeaway

Prewiro is a 6-day, trust-first outreach engine that earns the right to a sales conversation by delivering six pieces of real, useful work per prospect — picked fresh from a library of skills (a tailored website, SEO content, competitor brief, social posts, a brand video, a voice note, an influencer match, and more) to fit each match. Tailored, not templated. Two prospects never get the same six. It is now in beta for solopreneurs, local businesses, agencies, and influencers. 50 spots in the first cohort.

The short version

Prewiro is now in beta. It runs a 6-day cadence that delivers proof of work to a prospect before any pitch is made — six artefacts of completed work, picked fresh per prospect from a library of skills the agent draws from. One prospect might get a tailored website + competitor brief + voice note + sample shipment + ROI summary + influencer match. Another gets a different six. The cadence is fixed at six days; the contents are not. The principle is simple: earn trust first, sell by proving, not pitching.

If you sell to solopreneurs, local businesses, agencies, or influencers — and you are tired of cold outreach that everyone has been trained to ignore — apply to the beta cohort. We are accepting 50 businesses.

The problem I kept seeing

I spent eleven years at Microsoft, the last several of them working on Copilot. From the inside of one of the largest software companies in the world, I watched enterprise sales get more sophisticated every year — better intent data, better personalisation engines, better orchestration across email, LinkedIn, and ads.

And I watched something else happen at the same time: the gap between how enterprises sell and how small businesses sell got wider, not narrower.

The solopreneur, the local business owner, the two-person agency, the niche influencer — they got the cheap, broken version of all that infrastructure. AI-generated cold emails that everyone can spot. Apollo lists scraped six times. WhatsApp blasts that get the sender blocked. The tools got cheaper and the results got worse, because the tools optimised for volume of pitches in a world where attention had collapsed.

The first thing I did when I left Microsoft was sit down with twenty SMB owners across Chennai and ask them one question: what does your inbox look like? The answer was the same every time: 200+ AI-generated pitches a week, and they had stopped reading any of them.

The conclusion was obvious. Cold outreach is broken because everyone is doing the same thing — pitching first, hoping to land in the 1% who say yes. The remaining 99% just stop opening anything.

The fix is not "better copy." The fix is showing up on Day 1 having already done the work.

What we tried first

Before Prewiro existed as a product, it was something I did manually — for one customer, then five, then more.

The pattern that worked was always the same. I would identify a prospect. I would build them a small thing that proved they should talk to me — a working landing page, a competitor teardown, a social post they could publish that day. I would send it without asking for a meeting. They would reply, almost every time.

The conversion rate from "delivered something useful" to "let's talk" was something like ten times higher than anything I had ever done with traditional outreach. The problem was that it took me a full day per prospect, which meant it was unscalable.

So we built Prewiro. The point of the product is to take the manual playbook that worked and run it autonomously for solopreneurs and small businesses who do not have a Microsoft-sized team to do it for them.

What Prewiro does, in one sentence

Earn trust first. Sell by proving, not pitching.

Across six days, Prewiro delivers six artefacts of completed, useful work to each prospect. The cadence is fixed; the contents are picked per prospect from a library the agent draws from:

  • A tailored, deployed website — when the prospect IS your buyer and a working asset is the most credible proof.
  • SEO and AEO content — blog content optimised for Google and AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) when top-of-funnel discovery matters for the prospect's business.
  • A competitor brief — a short, structured teardown of the prospect's competitors, what they are doing online, and where the gaps are. Strongest when the prospect is a peer-or-competitor business.
  • Brand-voice social posts — ready-to-publish content for the platforms that match the prospect's audience, in the prospect's voice.
  • A 30-second voice note or AI brand video — an asymmetric value drop the prospect could not have made themselves in an afternoon. Voice for relationship-led buyers; video when the prospect needs a public-facing asset.
  • An influencer or partner match — a shortlist of relevant micro-influencers (or partners, channels, vendors) in the prospect's niche and city, with introduction templates. Strongest when the prospect's growth channel is creators.
  • A sample shipment, an ROI brief, or a tailored case study — calibrated to the prospect's monetization tier. Low-ticket gets a free sample; mid-ticket a free 15-min consult; high-ticket a one-page ROI brief; enterprise a tailored case study.

The intelligence layer picks the right six for each match. A Chennai gated-community RWA buying garden planters gets a different six than a Bangalore HR head running Q4 corporate gifting — and never the same six twice. By the time the conversation happens, the prospect has six artefacts they can actually use. The question is no longer "should I respond to this stranger?" — it is "this person already understands my business, what else can they do?"

Who Prewiro is for

The beta is open to four audiences:

  • Solopreneurs running a service business, a course, a niche product, or a content brand
  • Local businesses — clinics, salons, restaurants, studios, retail — who need to be found online but do not have a marketing team
  • Agencies who want to acquire SMB clients with a higher-trust pipeline than cold email
  • Influencers building out brand partnerships and digital products around their audience

It is not for: enterprise sales teams selling six-figure contracts (your sales motion looks different and you have other tools), or anyone whose primary problem is product-market fit rather than distribution. Prewiro is a distribution tool, not a positioning tool.

What is in the beta

We are accepting 50 businesses into the first cohort. The cohort runs for 8 weeks, after which we close applications and run a second wave.

Beta members get:

  • Heavily discounted founding-member pricing for life
  • Direct access to me (Karthik) on a weekly call for the first 4 weeks
  • The first look at every new module we add (we are working on Day 7 — the conversation engine — and will roll it to beta members first)
  • A private founders' Slack with the rest of the cohort

In exchange, we ask for:

  • Weekly written feedback on what is working and what is not
  • Permission to use anonymised metrics in our public results
  • Honesty when something breaks — we are pre-1.0 and we want to find every rough edge before the public launch

What is coming after beta

A few things I can preview:

  • Day 7: the conversation engine — once trust has been earned across Days 1 through 6, an agent that handles the inbound reply, qualifies the lead, and books the meeting
  • Agency white-label tier — five founding agency partners chosen from the beta cohort
  • A wider artefact library — the skills the agent draws from today (website, SEO, competitor brief, social, video, voice note, influencer match, sample, ROI brief) cover most service businesses; we are building specialised artefacts for retail (product photography, review-platform optimisation), real estate (neighbourhood market reports, property comparables), and professional services (case-study templates, RFP responses)
  • Native integrations — currently Prewiro hands off to whichever sending platform you use; native integrations with HubSpot, Apollo, Instantly, and WhatsApp Business are on the post-beta roadmap

A note on how to think about Prewiro vs alternatives

Two questions I get a lot:

"Can I build this myself in n8n or Make?" Yes, and we wrote a whole post on what that actually involves. The short version: you are signing up to build a six-module pipeline plus the orchestration plus the maintenance, and the parts of it that need judgement do not fit cleanly into n8n nodes.

"Why 6 days, not 3 or 14?" We have run shorter and longer cadences. Shorter felt rushed and prospects had not yet absorbed Day 1 by the time Day 3 landed. Longer turned into noise — by Day 10 they had forgotten what the first artefact was. We wrote up the full playbook breakdown if you want the reasoning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Prewiro free during the beta?+

Beta cohort users get a heavily discounted founding-member price in exchange for weekly feedback. Pricing is announced privately when we accept you into the cohort — it is not posted publicly during beta.

How many spots are open in the Prewiro beta?+

We are accepting 50 businesses into the first beta cohort. We close applications when the cohort fills, then run for 8 weeks before opening a second wave.

What if I'm not based in India?+

Prewiro is designed for any English-language SMB market. The beta is open globally, though our most concentrated success has been with Indian SMBs because that is where we have run it longest.

Can my agency white-label Prewiro for our clients?+

An agency white-label tier is on the post-beta roadmap. If you run an agency and want early access to that tier, mention it in your beta application — we are choosing 5 founding agency partners during this cohort.

Does Prewiro replace tools like Apollo, Instantly, or Lemlist?+

Prewiro replaces the workflow you would build on top of Apollo or Instantly. We are not a sending platform — we are the trust-building engine that decides what to send, when, and to whom, before any pitch.

What does Prewiro actually do across the 6 days?+

Prewiro delivers six artefacts of completed work per prospect, one each day. The artefacts change with the prospect — the intelligence layer picks from a library of skills (a tailored landing page, brand-voice SEO content, a competitor brief, social posts, a 30-second voice note, an AI brand video, an influencer shortlist, a sample shipment for low-ticket products, an ROI brief for high-ticket buyers) to fit each match. Two prospects never get the same six.
